Evidenced-Based Therapy for Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and Depression

Hi there, and welcome! If you’re here, you likely keep thinking, “Why can’t I just get over this already?” You might be dealing with constant worry or fear that’s hard to control, unwanted thoughts and feeling the need to repeat things or do a certain action to ease the distress, persistent sadness or loss of interest, or just trying to make sense of the challenges life has thrown your way. You probably have tried strategies on your own, but you find yourself getting stuck on how to make real change—you’re not alone.

At Bello Cognitive Therapy, I help teens and young adults (ages 13–40) who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, and other challenges, better understand what’s going on and learn proven strategies you can actually use in your everyday life.

Using approaches like CBT, ERP, DBT, and ACT, we’ll work together to tackle the thoughts, behaviors, and feelings that may be holding you back—and help you build a life that feels more meaningful and manageable. Whatever brings you here, you’ve already taken the first step, let me help you take the next one.

Do these thoughts or behaviors sound familiar?

If you find yourself being controlled by unhelpful thinking like:

  • “If I don’t do this perfectly, I’ve completely failed.”

  • “They didn’t say hi to me today, they must be mad at me.”

  • “If I don’t complete this ritual/behavior, something bad will happen.”

  • “If I can’t be 100% sure about something, I can’t move forward.”

  • “If I don’t get an A on this test, I’m going to ruin my future.”

  • "If I focus on my breathing, I can avoid having a panic attack."

or behavioral patterns such as:

  • Avoiding social situations because of fear of judgment, even though it leads to isolation

  • Continuously asking others if something is okay or if a task was done correctly (or repeatedly checking things on the internet), but the reassurance never fully alleviates the anxiety

  • Putting off tasks because of fear of failure, which increases stress later

  • Saying yes to everything to avoid conflict, even if it leads to feeling overwhelmed or resentful

  • Scrubbing surfaces or washing hands repeatedly, even after they are already clean

…that are causing anxiety, rumination, obsessive thinking, irritability, feelings of stagnancy or being “stuck,” and/or low mood that prevents you from enjoying the things you once did, then you’re in the right place.
